About the Role

Mainstreet Equity Corp. is seeking a skilled Pest Controller to join our team. As a Pest Controller, you will be responsible for inspecting buildings and outside areas to detect signs of infestation, determining the type of treatment required, and implementing effective pest control measures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Monitor buildings and outside areas to detect signs of pest infestation, including rodents, insects, and other unwanted organisms.
  • Determine Treatment options and implement effective pest control measures, including the use of traps, baits, and other control methods.
  • Provide Client Education on how to prevent pest infestation and maintain a pest-free environment.
  • Collaborate with Colleagues to ensure effective communication and coordination of pest control efforts.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with industry developments and best practices in pest control.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in pest control or a related field.
  • Work Setting: Various locations, including residential and commercial properties.
  • Work Conditions: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Language: English.
  • Hours: 32 hours per week.
Certifications and Licenses
  • Provincial Pesticide Applicator Licence.
