We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting Technician to join our team at Jay Kang CPA Ltd. As an Accounting Technician, you will be responsible for performing various accounting tasks, including financial record-keeping, budgeting, and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
- Budgeting: Assist in preparing and managing the company's budget, including forecasting and financial analysis.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to management, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Payroll Administration: Process payroll, including calculating and preparing cheques, and maintaining accurate payroll records.
- Accounting Systems: Maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
- Tax Preparation: Prepare tax returns and other financial documents as required.
- Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Experience: Experience an asset.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
