Senior Manager, IT and Cyber Risk and Control

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager, IT and Cyber Risk and Control to join our team at Accoravillage. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading the development, implementation, and monitoring of our IT and Cyber Risk and Control program.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the IT and Cyber Risk and Control team in the development and implementation of risk management strategies and controls.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, assess, and mitigate IT and Cyber risks.
- Develop and maintain risk management policies, procedures, and standards.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Lead the implementation of risk management frameworks and tools.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including senior management, IT, and Cyber Security teams.
- Provide regular reporting and updates to senior management on IT and Cyber risk management activities.
- 10+ years of experience in IT and Cyber Risk Management, Internal Audit, or Compliance in a financial institution.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in IT or security operations.
- Knowledge and experience working with data, cybersecurity, information security, compliance, and privacy laws in the Canadian financial industry.
- Experience writing or updating IT and Security governance documents, policies, and standards.
- Experience building key performance and risk indicator dashboards for different management levels.
- Knowledge of industry best practices (COBIT, ITIL, NIST CSF, Cloud CSC, Agile SAFE, PCI-DSS, etc.).
- Exposure to enterprise and operational risk principles and practices.
- Expertise in budget planning, financial management, and workforce management.
- Broad knowledge of current and emerging technologies, technology directions, and strategic application to business needs.
- Ability to improve operational efficiency, service delivery, and information management across the IT organization and wider enterprise.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to explain technology solutions in business terms.
