About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Compliance Advisor to join our team at Banque Nationale du Canada. As a Senior Compliance Advisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the Bank's compliance with regulations and providing support to compliance partners on regulatory compliance questions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support partners in relation to all activities for the implementation of AML/ATF regulatory obligations, especially the requirements for correspondent banking;
  • Work closely with other members of the AML/ATF Program's team with a view to applying AML/ATF across the organization;
  • Act as a specialist with stakeholders and management in decisions requiring expertise on the interpretation and application of AML/ATF requirements;
  • Demonstrate leadership and produce positions and guidelines pursuant to AML/ATF requirements;
Requirements
  • University degree related to the sector of activity and 6-10 years of relevant experience;
  • Experience in regulatory compliance or risk management;
  • Demonstrated leadership and ability to work in a team and with various stakeholders;
  • Knowledge and understanding of AML/ATF risks;
  • Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills.
Language Requirements

Reason to require this language: you will need to work closely with our colleagues outside Quebec.
