About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Physiotherapist to join our team at Parkway Physiotherapy and Performance Centre. As a key member of our clinical team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the development of our physiotherapy programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Treatment
    • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical abilities and develop personalized physiotherapy plans
    • Administer evaluative tests and procedures to diagnose and treat a range of conditions
  • Program Development
    • Plan and implement physiotherapy programs to promote patient recovery and well-being
    • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Communication and Education
    • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care
    • Teach patients and their families about exercise programs, injury prevention, and overall health
  • Professional Development
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in physiotherapy
    • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance clinical skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Education and Certification
    • Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent
    • Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities
    • Alliance of Physiotherapy Regulatory Boards Examination
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Strong assessment and treatment skills
    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
    • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced clinical setting
