Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and lead exercise sessions for residents
  • Animate and oversee supervision during activities
  • Decorate the premises for special events
  • Manage logistics related to activities
  • Plan the activities calendar
  • Promote activities related to residents
  • Validate that activities correspond to residents' needs and desires, collaborating with different departments to facilitate tasks
  • Welcome residents and invite them to participate in activities
  • Write the in-house newspaper as needed and take residents' registrations for activities
Requirements:
  • Degree in recreation (DEC) or related field
  • Experience in managing activities for older adults (an asset)
  • Knowledge of seniors' residences (a major asset)
