About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Music Educator to join our team at Merriam Music. As a Music Educator, you will be responsible for teaching music lessons to students of all ages and skill levels.

Responsibilities
  • Teaching: Provide high-quality music lessons to students, including piano and violin instruction.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform various administrative tasks, such as maintaining student records and managing lesson schedules.
  • Leading/Instructing Groups: Lead and instruct groups of students in music classes and workshops.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Progress Reports: Write daily progress reports to track student progress and provide feedback.
Requirements
  • Certifications: Hold a Royal Conservatory of Music Certification.
  • Experience: Have at least 1 year of experience in music education, or equivalent experience.
  • Education: Hold a Bachelor's degree in Music or a related field.
Work Environment

As a Music Educator at Merriam Music, you will work in a music academy setting, teaching students of all ages and skill levels. You will be responsible for creating a positive and supportive learning environment, and for providing high-quality music instruction.
