Key Responsibilities
  • Training and Development: Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs to individuals seeking to become commercial vehicle drivers.
  • Education and Guidance: Provide guidance and instruction on the safe operation of commercial vehicles, including defensive driving techniques and vehicle maintenance.
  • Safety and Efficiency: Emphasize the importance of safety and efficiency in commercial vehicle operation, and provide training on best practices.
  • Supervision and Evaluation: Supervise individuals during practice driving and evaluate their progress to ensure they meet the required standards.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience as a commercial vehicle driver or instructor is an asset.
  • Certifications: Provincial Driving Instructor Licence.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 32 hours per week.
