Store Manager Job Description

As a Store Manager with Ricki's, you will be responsible for leading all aspects of your store's business. This includes attracting, leading, and developing a strong team of fashion lovers who drive business results by ensuring an amazing customer experience in their store.

Store Managers balance an operational mindset, strong business acumen, and a people-focused approach to increasing productivity and profitability of their store. They drive business results by developing a team of passionate, customer-focused sales associates and leaders, promoting the brand through knowledge and understanding of our product, business, and values, and executing all merchandising, marketing, and visual presentation aspects of the store according to our standards and directives.

Maintaining a safe and clean store environment for our teams and customers is also a key responsibility, as is securing company assets with strong loss prevention skills and awareness. Store Managers provide strong leadership to the store team, motivating, training, and coaching others to success. They hold strong retail and business acumen and have an entrepreneurial spirit, with excellent sales skills and a commitment to ensuring amazing customer experiences.

Store Managers work a combination of daytime, evening, and weekend shifts, and are able to stand for extended periods, climb a ladder, and move and handle boxes of merchandise (weighing up to 30 pounds) and fixtures throughout the store. From a single store in 1939 in Brandon, Manitoba, Ricki's has grown to become a destination for fashionable workwear, with a deep commitment to understanding our customer and providing insights that help drive our business and create better product and experiences for our customers.
