Key Responsibilities:
- Select, identify, prefit, fabricate, assemble, and finish a diverse range of structural and non-structural fiberglass, graphite, and other plastic components and assemblies using established methods.
- Prepare parts for bonding by bagging, sealing, and attaching thermocouples.
- Remove completed panels from layup tools and wrap finished products for shipping.
- Adhere to work orders, manufacturing plans, specifications, and quality standards while following established safety protocols.
- Utilize shop mathematics and precision measuring tools to complete tasks accurately.
- Finish parts to required tolerances and fit them into assemblies, cutting materials as necessary.
- Operate various equipment for heat treatment, testing, and curing processes.
- Sand and polish molds to achieve desired surface finishes.
- Apply protective coatings and materials to molds and forms.
- Mix materials according to specified ratios and processes.
- Assemble thermocouple devices as needed.
- Ensure surfaces are prepared for subsequent operations by performing necessary surface preparation and masking.
- Understand quality requirements, assess finished products, and perform in-process corrections as instructed.
Work Environment:
This position requires 100% onsite presence. The selected candidate will be expected to work at the designated location.

Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to successfully complete the Test of Workplace Essential Skills (TOWES).
- Availability to work evening (starting at 15:00) and/or midnight shifts (starting at 23:00).
- Legal authorization to work in Canada.
- Must not pose a risk for safeguarding controlled goods.
- Eligibility to handle US export-controlled data.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment medical examination and background check.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Completion of Aerospace Manufacturing Technician (AMT) or related aerospace manufacturing experience.
- Formal training and post-secondary education from an accredited institution.
Relocation:
Relocation assistance is not available for this position. Candidates must reside in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
Additional Information:
This position is for local hiring in Canada. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada. Benefits and compensation are determined by Canadian standards.
Compensation:
Starting wage is $29.33 per hour, with additional shift premiums for evening and midnight shifts.
