Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Inspecting products for accuracy in shape, dimensions, and specifications
  • Maintaining and lubricating machinery and equipment
  • Shaping and forming metal stock into parts or products through various methods such as cutting, bending, rolling, reaming, punching, drilling, and welding
  • Documenting completed work
  • Identifying and resolving minor mechanical issues
  • Setting up and operating multiple light or heavy metalworking machines
  • Utilizing machines for welding, soldering, bolting, screwing, or riveting metal components
  • Operating presses or forging machines for hot or cold metal shaping
  • Reading and interpreting specifications or following verbal instructions
  • Selecting and transporting materials to the work area manually or with cranes
Equipment Experience

Familiarity with the following equipment is essential:

  • Lifting devices
  • Overhead cranes
  • Power presses
  • Punch presses
  • CNC machines
  • Hand tools
Safety and Security

Applicants must pass a criminal record check.

Transportation and Travel

Reliable transportation is required, although public transportation options are available.
