Job Title: Aircraft Fleet Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Aircraft Fleet Manager to join our team at Starlink Aviation. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the daily maintenance activities for our aircraft fleet.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the maintenance of all aircraft in our fleet, ensuring they are ready for flight operations.
  • Manage daily maintenance tasks, including service and base checks, configuration changes, and updating flight databases.
  • Perform quick visual inspections and manage tire and brake replacement.
  • Oversee departure and arrival with available technicians on site.
  • Handle AOGs (Aircraft on Ground) and deployment outside or unscheduled maintenance.
  • Mid-term planning for specific medevac aircraft to ensure proper and fast operation.
  • Act as a liaison with other departments to ensure all maintenance activities are integrated into the overall operations of the AMO.
  • Identify and resolve maintenance issues, including troubleshooting, and develop solutions with the aircraft fleet manager.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities are carried out safely and in compliance with MPM, MCM, and safety procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including maintenance schedules, work orders, and inspection reports.
  • Monitor MELs (Minimum Equipment List) and update next due maintenance items in logbooks.
  • Manage personnel schedules and control overtime (excluding performance evaluation and disciplinary measures).
  • Monitor Recurrent Defect and advise PRMCS.
  • Maintain an organized and clean working environment.
  • Monitor oil consumption.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures and use only approved equipment and materials provided by the company.

Requirements:

  • Must hold a valid Transport Canada AME (M, E, or S) license.
  • Understanding of aircraft maintenance procedures and operations.
  • Perform duties according to aircraft specifications and maintenance manuals.
  • Experience or knowledge of Corridor (an asset).
  • Knowledge of MS Office suite.
  • Canadian citizenship or permanent resident status.
  • Eligible for obtaining an identity card for restricted areas (RAIC).
  • License car class 5.
  • Valid passport.
