Job Title: Electrician

We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team at Northern Legendary Construction Ltd.

Job Summary:

The Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in residential and commercial structures. This includes installing electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, lighting fixtures, and other electrical components.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install electrical controls and panel boxes
  • Replace and repair electrical controls and panel boxes
  • Design and construct single-phase service for single or multimeter installations
  • Splice, join, and connect wires
  • Test and measure voltage, loads, ground faults integrity of circuits
  • Determine appropriate selection of materials and methods for hazardous locations
  • Troubleshoot and isolate faults
  • Install surface mount and/or overhead cables
  • Instruct apprentices
  • Install power generation, stand-by power generation, and power conditioning systems
  • Supervise other workers
  • Estimate costs and materials
  • Renovate electrical systems in residential and commercial structures
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications
  • Interpret electrical code specifications
  • Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics, and electrical code specifications to determine layout of industrial electrical equipment installations
  • Test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance
  • Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair industrial, electrical, and electronic control systems and other related devices
  • Conduct preventive maintenance programs and keep maintenance records
  • Replace or repair electrical components
Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license
  • Steel-toed safety boots
  • Hard hat
  • Attention to detail
Working Conditions:

The Electrician will work in a fast-paced environment with varying temperatures and humidity levels. The position requires standing for long periods, climbing ladders, and working at heights.
