Accounting Professor

This position involves providing in-person instruction to students enrolled in the Business programs at Saskatchewan Polytechnic's Moose Jaw Campus.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver instruction to students in a student-centered classroom environment.
- Design and implement curriculum that reflects the values, beliefs, and needs of a culturally diverse community.
- Provide effective evaluation, assessment, and feedback to students.
- Develop new curriculum as needed and make adjustments according to learner needs.
- Be reflective of and responsive to accommodation of individual learning needs, including equity groups and diverse learners.
- Collaborate with external partners and employers to support students in working experience.
- Pursue professional development opportunities to stay current with employer and educational requirements.
- Work co-operatively in an interdependent team environment.
- Professional Accounting Designation (CA, CMA, CGA, CPA) in Canada.
- Recent/relevant work experience in an accountancy related business environment.
- Effective communication and instructional skills.
- Ability to work as a team member and foster teamwork.
- Demonstrated competence in the use of technology, including the internet, email, and MS Office Suite software.
