We are seeking a highly motivated and self-directed Territory Manager to join our sales department at our Brooks, AB Agriculture branch.
This role specializes in the sale of John Deere compact tractor, turf, and sport lines within a designated sales territory.
- Sell new and used whole goods products to customers within the territory
- Complete sales documentation in a timely and accurate manner
- Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and equipment
- Develop relationships with customers and identify new business opportunities
- Prepare customer status reports, including sales call activity, closing, follow-up, and prospect reports
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Strong customer service skills
- Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills
- Ability to build relationships and prospect new accounts
- Sales industry experience and/or a comprehensive knowledge of heavy equipment
- Valid passport and ability to travel internationally
- Recent driver's abstract
