We are seeking a skilled professional to enhance our presence in the healthcare sector across western Canada. As a key member of a dynamic design team, the Lead Mechanical Design Engineer is essential in guiding the team to design, engineer, and implement heating, cooling, plumbing, and low-carbon energy systems tailored for various building types, particularly in healthcare settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret Architectural, Structural, Mechanical, and Electrical drawings with minimal oversight.
- Apply relevant plumbing, building, and sprinkler codes effectively.
- Engage in schematic design, equipment selection, and utilize REVIT software.

- Familiarity with sustainability frameworks such as Passive House, Zero Carbon Building, and LEED.

Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of design experience in HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Protection systems, specifically in healthcare.
- Bachelor's degree or college diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) or Applied Science Technologist (A.Sc.T.) credentials are highly desirable.
- LEED or Passive House Accreditation is a plus.
