Electrical Assembler

Job Summary:
NOV Inc is seeking an experienced Electrical Assembler to join our production assembly team. As an Electrical Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling, testing, and repairing a variety of electrical and electronic equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble and test electrical and electronic equipment using standard and non-standard tools and procedures.
- Perform electrical and electronics installation, repair, and troubleshooting using drawings, schematics, and applicable codes and safety regulations.
- Read equipment assembly specifications, such as charts, schematics, blueprints, and typed instructions and details.
- Participate in regular shop/yard organization and cleanliness exercises.
- Train new employees in assembly operations as required.
- Complete and maintain various records and documentation.
- Demonstrate the capability to work independently or in a team on complex and multiple projects requiring judgment to resolve problems.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Must have experience or demonstrate equivalent knowledge in electronics, electrical code, safety practices, electrical blueprint and schematic reading, and/or oilfield experience in maintenance and repair.
- Ability to work with a diverse group of employees and departments.
Work Environment:
- Shop environment, warehouse, and working indoors/outdoors.
- Possibility to be exposed to dust, fumes, or gases and changes of temperature/humidity.
- Physical requirements: squatting, bending, lifting, standing, sitting, walking, kneeling, reaching, twisting, crawling, climbing, ladder work, and working near moving equipment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- First Aid, forklift, overhead crane training beneficial to this role.
- Required to wear steel toe boots, safety glasses or side shields, hard hat, and ear protection.
