Role Responsibilities:

As a key leadership volunteer, you will collaborate with a team of 10 to 15 dedicated volunteers to orchestrate our fundraising initiatives. Potential roles within the committee may encompass logistics management, community outreach, volunteer coordination, and event planning.

As the Logistics Director, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing strategic direction and support to your team of logistics volunteers (4-6 members, contingent on event scale).
  • Assisting Logistics Leads in formulating a comprehensive local event strategy.
  • Ensuring the timely completion of all essential logistics tasks as outlined in the project timeline.
  • Overseeing the execution of logistics for setup, event day operations, and post-event teardown.
  • Working towards achieving local revenue and participant engagement targets.
  • Co-facilitating committee meetings alongside the Community Engagement Director.
  • Regularly meeting with your organizational staff partner to align on objectives.
  • Reviewing established minimum standards and ensuring compliance with best practices.
  • Supporting the recruitment and onboarding of new logistics volunteers.
