Position: Information Security Specialist - Privileged Access Management

Our client, a prominent entity in the financial services sector, is seeking an Information Security Specialist with a focus on Privileged Access Management (PAM) and Active Directory.

Role Overview

  • Develop guidelines for managing highly privileged domain accounts.
  • Assist in the cleanup initiatives for all production in-scope domains.
  • Provide PAM advisory services to infrastructure teams, developers, and technology partners.
  • Responsible for remediation tasks assigned to the Governance, Identity, and Access Management (GIAM) team.
  • Conduct cleanup of privileged accounts within Active Directory.
  • Perform a thorough review of memberships in built-in privileged groups within Active Directory.
  • Ensure all service accounts are properly recertified or removed from groups as necessary.
  • Manage delegation rights within Active Directory.
  • Eliminate unnecessary delegations.
  • Administer local workstation access for service accounts.

Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of technical experience in IT or information security.
  • Strong understanding of Active Directory and the ability to create management guidelines for privileged domain accounts.
  • At least 4 years of experience with Privileged Access Management tools such as CyberArk, Delinea, or BeyondTrust.
  • 3+ years of experience in access management on Windows operating systems.
  • Hands-on experience with on-premises Active Directory, particularly in managing privileged groups and understanding delegation.
  • Familiarity with Service ID, Application ID, Privileged ID, and regular employee IDs.
  • Technical knowledge of information security standards.
  • Proven experience in a large enterprise distributed computing environment.
  • Proficient in data analysis using Excel.
  • Strong written, presentation, and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration with technical peers and business stakeholders.
  • Adept at analyzing complex situations and conducting research to develop innovative solutions.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team or independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills for managing large-scale projects.
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline such as computer science or computer engineering.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in Privileged Access Management.
  • In-depth knowledge of Active Directory infrastructure.
