Production Lead Hand

BE Power Equipment is a leading manufacturer of pressure washers, air compressors, generators, and water pumps serving industrial markets in over 30 countries. Our company is headquartered in Abbotsford, BC, and is a third-generation, family-owned business focused on designing quality products and delivering exceptional service.

We are seeking an experienced Production Lead Hand to join our growing team. This role will report to the Production Supervisor and will be the first point of contact for Production Associates. This is a day shift position with hours from Monday to Friday, 6:30am to 3:00pm.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate production teams, including the daily organization of crew tasks.
  • Train new employees in role-specific tasks.
  • Ensure quality control and safety standards are adhered to.
  • Conduct ongoing safety training and hazard assessments as needed.
  • Demonstrate and initiate continuous improvement activities and work habits.
  • Be the first point of contact for employee concerns and needs and redirect as needed.
  • Perform assembly line production tasks as required.
Requirements:
  • Experience in production assembly, preferably in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
  • Leadership experience at a working Lead Hand level.
  • Post-secondary education or equivalent work experience.
  • Ability to train, mentor, and coach others.
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, including safety and quality standards.
