About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Floor Cleaner to join our team at H2O Clean Up East Corp. As a key member of our cleaning crew, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sweeping and Mopping: Ensure all floors are clean and free of debris, using a combination of sweeping and mopping techniques.
  • Vacuuming and Dusting: Vacuum all carpeted areas, including stairs, and dust all surfaces, including furniture and fixtures.
  • Trash and Recycling: Empty trash and recycling bins, and replace liners as needed.
  • Window Cleaning: Clean all windows, including sills and blinds.
  • General Labouring: Assist with general labouring duties, such as moving furniture and equipment.
  • Salvage and Disposal: Clean and pile salvaged materials, and dispose of hazardous waste.
Work Environment

This is a physically demanding role that requires standing, walking, and lifting. You will be working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on quality and attention to detail.

Requirements
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience in a cleaning or janitorial role is an asset.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, stand for long periods, and walk on uneven surfaces.
  • Initiative and Reliability: Demonstrated initiative and reliability in previous roles.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent, full-time position with a regular 40-hour workweek. The work language is English.
