Company Overview

Reporting directly to the General Manager and with a dotted line to the Executive Vice President of Talent, the Head of Human Resources will manage all facets of HR support within Red Bull Canada and its distribution network. As a key member of both the Country Leadership team and the North America Talent Leadership team, you will play a crucial role in achieving both organizational and employee objectives. This includes executing strategic initiatives across talent management, employee engagement, and performance enhancement. You will also spearhead HR initiatives with national implications and oversee all locally-driven projects and programs.

Role Responsibilities

TALENT STRATEGY

  • Serve as the principal HR leader for Red Bull in Canada, formulating and implementing the Talent strategy.
  • Lead a team of six talented HR professionals (including Talent Acquisition, HR Business Partnerships, HR Operations, and Payroll), fostering their professional growth and development.
  • Collaborate with the Country Leadership team to provide insights and influence business strategies; drive the creation of people-centric plans.
  • Promote Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion across HR initiatives, enhancing representation and fostering an inclusive culture to improve the employee experience.

FUNCTIONAL LEADERSHIP

  • Work alongside the North America Talent Leadership team and Centers of Excellence to develop scalable talent solutions, programs, and processes tailored for Canada.
  • Utilize data analytics to derive insights, prioritize focus areas, and guide teams in crafting Talent strategies.
  • Oversee the design of employee benefit plans, ensuring they are cost-effective and competitive within the market.
  • Guarantee compliance with all federal, provincial, and local employment laws and regulations across all operational provinces.
  • Ensure that the organizational structure and roles are designed to facilitate growth; lead the annual HR Business Planning process, including workforce and salary forecasting.
  • Manage the annual HR budget, ensuring optimal resource allocation.
Candidate Qualifications
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in Human Resources, with at least 2 years in a senior HR leadership role.
  • A proven track record of building business partnerships with senior leaders in a matrixed environment.
  • Ability to align HR strategies with business priorities and integrate the HR value proposition effectively.
  • Strong knowledge of provincial and local regulations, industry trends, and best practices related to employment and compliance.
  • Expertise in business planning, budget management, and project oversight.
  • Willingness to travel 20-30% of the time.
