Job Summary
The Hepatopancreatobiliary (HPB) and liver transplant surgical team at Vancouver General Hospital is eager to welcome proficient Medical Associate Physicians to enhance their program.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments and manage both preoperative and postoperative surgical patients
- Provide surgical support during HPB and related procedures
- Offer expert consultations for HPB patients in emergency and inpatient environments
- Assist with discharge planning and contribute to various team activities
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of two years of accredited postgraduate training
- Successful completion of necessary examinations and possession of a medical degree
- Proficiency in the English language
- Valid Canadian Citizenship or eligibility to work in British Columbia
- ACLS certification
