We are seeking a skilled and experienced Truck Driver to join our team at Transway Transport Inc.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a tractor-trailer to transport goods and materials safely and efficiently. This is a permanent position with a variable schedule, requiring the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transportation: Operate a tractor-trailer to transport goods and materials safely and efficiently.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
  • Logistics: Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Communication: Receive and relay information to central dispatch.
  • Safety: Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections, and ensure the safety and security of cargo.
Requirements:
  • Licenses and Certifications: AZ class license, Air Brakes Endorsement, and a valid Driver's License (Class 1 or A).
  • Experience: Previous experience as a truck driver is an asset.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to handle heavy loads, physically demanding work, and sitting for extended periods.
