Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect, measure, and mark surfaces for coverage
  • Measure, cut, and secure underlay and underpadding
  • Develop flooring plans and schedules
  • Measure, cut, and install carpeting and resilient floor coverings
  • Prepare and install hardwood flooring
  • Assess and repair damaged floor coverings
  • Conduct moisture, pH, temperature, and other tests prior to installations
  • Prepare surfaces for flooring installations
  • Remove existing floor coverings and contaminants
  • Install carpeting on walls or other surfaces
  • Utilize knee kickers and other tools for carpet stretching
  • Execute direct glue-down and double-bond carpet installations
  • Install vinyl decking materials
