About the Role:
The Sales Director will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to increase customer loyalty and department profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales plans to achieve monthly and yearly targets.
- Recruit, train, and evaluate sales staff to ensure they have the necessary skills to meet sales goals.
- Manage the sales department's budget and ensure effective use of resources.
- Ensure compliance with all legal requirements affecting vehicle sales.
- Lead the sales team to ensure they are adequately staffed and motivated.
- Support sales staff in meeting their sales targets.
- Implement a system to follow up on sales prospects and ensure timely completion of sales and commission paperwork.
- Foster a team environment focused on customer service and ensure the team is trained on products.
- Hold regular sales meetings and ensure clear communication.
- Adhere to and enforce company policies.
- Develop promotional and advertising strategies to enhance the dealership's reputation and customer satisfaction.
- Manage vehicle inventory effectively and ensure vehicles are delivered to customers efficiently.
- Support the used-vehicle department as needed.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in leading a large sales team and developing sales strategies.
- Skilled in CRM management for customer retention and prospecting.
- Process-oriented with a disciplined approach and successful in fast-paced environments.
