Job Title: Personal Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker to join our team at Comfort Keepers Halifax. As a Personal Support Worker, you will provide high-quality care and support to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Job Summary:

The Personal Support Worker will be responsible for providing personal care and support to clients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. You will also assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and medication administration. Additionally, you will provide companionship and emotional support to our clients, helping them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care and support to clients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and medication administration
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
  • Assist clients with daily activities, such as shopping and errands
  • Monitor and report any changes in client's condition to the supervisor
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of a Personal Support Worker program or equivalent experience
  • Valid CPR and First Aid certification
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
