Job Title: Hairstylist Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Hairstylist Assistant to join our team at Beauty Supply Outlet. As a Hairstylist Assistant, you will work closely with our experienced hairstylists to provide exceptional customer service and deliver high-quality haircuts and styling services.

Job Summary:
  • Assist hairstylists with haircuts, styling, and coloring services
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Assist with receptionist duties and answer phone calls
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to improve skills and knowledge
Responsibilities:
  • Advise clients on beauty care treatments and services
  • Analyze hair and scalp condition to recommend suitable services
  • Book appointments and manage client schedules
  • Cut and trim hair according to client instructions or preferences
  • Provide custom hair and scalp treatments
  • Shampoo customers' hair and perform other hair services
  • Maintain and order supplies as needed
Requirements:
  • Other trades certificate or diploma
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in the field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Availability to work a variable or compressed work week
