Position Details

• Hours: 30 to 44 hours per week
• Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required
• Experience: 1 to 2 years in roofing

Work Environment

The role involves working at heights and in various settings, including residential properties.

Key Responsibilities

• Install roofing tiles on sloped surfaces of buildings.
• Apply single-ply roofing systems using waterproof materials.
• Repair or replace shingles and shakes on sloped roofs.
• Maintain and repair existing roofing systems.
• Utilize hand and power tools for metal roof installation and repairs.
• Set up scaffolding and other working platforms.

Qualifications

• Completion of working at heights training.
• Possession of Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) clearance Certificate.
• Certification in Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS).
