Position Overview

The University of Lethbridge, recognized as one of Canada's premier educational institutions, is seeking a dedicated individual for the role of Accounting Clerk IV. This full-time, ongoing position is integral to our dynamic team, which supports over 8,000 students and employs more than 2,500 staff members across two campuses.

Key Responsibilities

As an Accounting Clerk IV, you will:

  • Assist in the management of the University's procurement card program.
  • Handle invoicing for external organizations.
  • Conduct various reconciliation and analytical tasks.
  • Participate in special projects as required.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of a two-year diploma in Business Administration, including intermediate accounting coursework.
  • 2-4 years of relevant professional experience.
  • A solid understanding of generally accepted accounting principles.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Experience with the Banner Finance system is considered an asset.
Work Environment

This role is situated in a fast-paced and evolving environment. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively, and a keen attention to detail, ensuring a high level of accuracy in all work.
