Key Responsibilities- Program Development: Design and implement child-care programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children, aligning with the Academy's educational philosophy.
- Environment Maintenance: Ensure the daycare equipment is well-maintained, and the environment is safe and healthy for children.
- Leadership and Guidance: Lead activities, tell stories, teach songs, and take children on outings to local points of interest, fostering a love for learning and exploration.
- Encouraging Creativity: Support children in expressing their creativity through art, dramatic play, music, and physical activity, promoting self-expression and imagination.
- Health and Hygiene: Guide and assist children in developing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits, ensuring their overall well-being.
- Observation and Reporting: Monitor children for signs of potential learning or behavioral issues and prepare reports for parents, guardians, or supervisors, maintaining open communication.
- Environment Planning: Plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security, and well-being of children, adhering to the Academy's standards and regulations.
- Education: A strong educational background in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
- Experience: Previous experience in a childcare setting is an asset, but not required.
- Language: Fluency in English is required, with the ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff.
- Work Hours: 30-40 hours per week, with flexibility to adapt to the needs of the Academy.
