About the Team

The Growth team is responsible for acquiring, converting, and growing millions of merchants globally across Stripe's full suite of financial products. We're a cross-functional team of engineers, scientists, marketers, designers, and product managers who work together to deliver insights, algorithms, internal systems, and user-facing experiences that fuel Stripe's growth.

Job Summary

We're seeking a talented Product Designer to join our Growth team. As a Product Designer, you'll design products that help bring new users into Stripe and provide them with a strong first impression. You'll work closely with marketing, brand, and dashboard teams to create an onboarding experience that sets us apart from the competition.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design industry-leading onboarding experiences that reduce friction for new users
  • Work closely with marketing, brand, and dashboard teams to create a seamless onboarding experience
  • Partner with engineers, data scientists, product managers, and marketers to shape product experiences that help users start and scale their businesses on Stripe
  • Contribute to work across the entire Growth team, including customer acquisition, conversion, and retention experiences
  • Champion design in growth and apply design priorities and principles to growth projects
Requirements
  • 3+ years of relevant design experience at a tech, product-driven company
  • Experience designing onboarding journeys, product demos, or other growth-related domains
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to thrive with significant autonomy and responsibility
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to reduce complex problems down to the right balance of flexibility, power, and ease of use
  • Experience with A/B testing or designing in analytical/data-driven contexts
  • Skilled in explaining your work, process, and decisions to cross-functional stakeholders
  • Comfortable presenting work to stakeholders regularly
What We Offer

At Stripe, we offer a competitive salary range of $127,400 - $191,100, as well as additional benefits, including equity, company bonus, 401(k) plan, medical, dental, and vision benefits, and wellness stipends.

Location
