As a Technician II - Security at Paladin Technologies, you will work collaboratively to review, comprehend, and implement installation blueprints and plans provided by Project Managers and Sales Teams to ensure successful installations.

This position demands the capability to accurately execute installations, adhere to the Bill of Materials (BOM), and possess the problem-solving skills necessary to make adjustments or find alternative solutions to meet client expectations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Installation and maintenance of electronic security systems, including access control, CCTV, and intrusion detection systems. Pre-wiring, installation, programming, commissioning, troubleshooting, and ongoing maintenance. Installation, termination, and testing of copper and fiber optic cables, connectors, and associated components. Preparation and execution of Acceptance Testing Plans that align with contract specifications, client needs, and future service requirements. Assistance in system design and layout. Providing training to clients for effective system usage and addressing technical inquiries. Building relationships with clients and prospects to explore future opportunities. Performing administrative tasks, including project updates to Project Managers and managing project documentation. Undertaking additional tasks as required. SUCCESS FACTORS: Adaptability: Ability to swiftly adjust to meet client outcomes. Accountability: Ownership of your work from inception to completion. Service Orientation: Commitment to exceeding customer expectations. Innovation: Continuous pursuit of new methods to enhance value. Technical Knowledge: Ongoing development of skills and demonstration of expertise. QUALIFICATIONS: Previous experience in a technical capacity within the integrated security sector. Postsecondary education in electronics or a related field is advantageous. Vendor certification in low voltage systems is preferred. Strong written and verbal communication abilities. Willingness to travel 50% to 70% of the time. Ability to learn and work with various systems, such as audio-visual and data structuring, is beneficial. Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record. Proficiency in using hand and specialized tools relevant to the industry. Capability to consistently lift 50 lbs. Ability to work independently. Strong interpersonal skills.

Hourly Pay Range: $28ph - $37ph DOE
