Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at SP Trucklines Inc. as a key member of our transportation operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive Safely: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, ensuring the safety of yourself and others on the road.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition, and oversee all aspects of vehicle maintenance.
  • Cargo Management: Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption, and ensure the safe and secure transportation of goods.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Possess and maintain a valid AZ class license and Air Brake (Z) Endorsement, and adhere to all relevant transportation regulations.
  • Communication: Operate GPS and other navigation equipment, and communicate effectively with dispatch and other stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Work Environment: Long-haul, provincial/territorial.
  • Work Schedule: 40 to 44 hours per week.
