Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeping Specialist to join our team at B D Convenience Store. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing cheques for payroll, and reconciling accounts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledgers and financial statements.
  • Payroll Administration: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
  • Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
  • Reporting: Prepare statistical, financial, and accounting reports as required.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Personal Qualities: Accurate, client-focused, organized, and reliable.
  • Work Experience: Willingness to train and learn.
Work Environment

This is a permanent position, working 30 to 40 hours per week. The language of work is English.
