Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Vice-Principal to join our team at the York Region District School Board. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Principal in the administration of the school, as well as providing leadership and guidance to teachers and staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Principal in the development and implementation of school policies and procedures
  • Provide leadership and guidance to teachers and staff on instructional strategies and best practices
  • Assist with the supervision of students and the maintenance of a positive school climate
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to develop and implement curriculum and instructional programs
  • Provide support and guidance to students with special needs
  • Assist with the coordination of school events and activities

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor of Education or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of teaching experience
  • Proven leadership and administrative experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and students
