Culinary Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated Culinary Specialist to join our team at CHILL & GRILL CAFE. This role involves preparing a variety of meals and ensuring a high standard of kitchen operations.
Qualifications- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 1 to 2 years in a similar role
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods.
- Inspect kitchen and food service areas to maintain hygiene and safety standards.
- Order necessary supplies and equipment to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Maintain accurate inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
- Ensure cleanliness of kitchen and work areas.
- Assist newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition.
- Provide diversity and cross-cultural training to foster an inclusive work environment.
- Offer mentorship and networking opportunities for Indigenous workers.
- Deliver cultural competency training to all employees to promote a welcoming atmosphere.
