Shift Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shift Manager to join our team at Firehouse Subs. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our team members are working efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Management: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed to a high standard.
- Customer Service: Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that all customers receive a positive experience.
- Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have sufficient stock to meet customer demand.
- Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring that all team members are equipped to provide excellent service.
- Reporting and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing regular reports to management.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a fast-paced food service environment.
- Language: English.
Our restaurant is a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, requiring the ability to work well under pressure. You will be required to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks.
