Position Overview: The Accounting and Assurance Supervisor will be responsible for delivering top-notch accounting, assurance, and consulting services to our clientele.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and finalize engagement deliverables such as financial statements and client communications.
  • Conduct thorough reviews and corrections of accounting and assurance engagement files and financial statements.
  • Oversee the work of assigned team members, ensuring high-quality standards and providing constructive feedback.
  • Assist in resolving technical accounting issues and serve as a resource for audit and accounting inquiries.
  • Prepare and review both corporate and personal tax returns.
  • Maintain effective communication and relationships with clients, the Canada Revenue Agency, legal professionals, and financial institutions.
  • Contribute innovative ideas and strategies to enhance work processes.

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field
  • Completion of the Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation

Experience Requirements:

  • Familiarity with CaseWare, Caseview, and TaxPrep is an asset
