Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician to join our team at Koolmax Heating & Cooling LTD. As an HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating and cooling systems in residential and commercial settings.
Key Responsibilities- Installation and Maintenance: Install and overhaul heating systems, including gas furnaces, heat pumps, and boilers.
- System Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot ventilation, air handling, refrigeration, and air conditioning systems to identify and resolve issues.
- Component Assembly and Installation: Assemble and install refrigeration or air conditioning components, including compressors, condensers, and evaporators.
- System Testing and Repair: Start up systems and test for leaks using testing devices, and repair and replace parts and components as needed.
- Work Environment and Physical Capabilities: Work in a fast-paced environment, bending, crouching, and kneeling to access equipment and work in confined spaces.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair.
- Physical Capabilities: Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy equipment and tools.
- Personal Suitability: Excellent oral communication skills, client focus, flexibility, and a team player attitude.
