Business Systems Analyst Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst to join our high-profile client's talented team on a 6-month contract with a strong probability of extension.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize structured tools for analysis and presentation of concepts and models to enhance the Business Requirements Document (BRD).
  • Develop and execute test plans and scripts.
  • Draft user stories and participate in the design and planning process.
  • Gather requirements through various mediums, including workshops, sessions, interviews, document analysis, and job shadowing.
  • Collaborate with external consultants, internal, and external resources throughout the project lifecycle to ensure system modifications meet business needs.
  • Liaise with the product owner to translate and break down business requirements into technical tasks.
  • Coordinate and support software releases and post-deployment validations with the business and internal/external technical teams.
  • Support day-to-day reporting needs as required.
  • Support production issues related to application functionality and integrations after go-live.
Requirements:
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
  • Solid experience in managing data warehouses and ETL pipelines (minimum 2 years).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including math skills for data modeling.
  • Able to write SQL scripts for analysis and reporting (Oracle/SQL Server).
  • Working experience in Java.
  • Ability to manage and complete multiple tasks within tight deadlines.
  • Working experience with cloud-native technologies.
  • Must have: working experience in dealing with big data and data manipulation.
  • Nice to have: retail experience, particularly in fashion retail.
  • Nice to have: working experience with cloud platforms, specifically AWS and Azure.
