About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Manager/Director to lead our research and development efforts in emissions control systems.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating with other R&E department heads to achieve company goals and objectives, developing and implementing a system roadmap, and providing technical support to internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • System Product Development: Develop and implement new system/product introduction processes, including related documentation, and assist in product planning and technical research for new products.
  • Technical Support: Provide applications engineering support, maintain a working knowledge of all active projects, and provide technical support to designated Regional Sales managers.
  • Management: Perform administrative functions, monitor progress against project schedules and budgets, and recommend allocation of resources as required.
  • Staff Management and Development: Recruit employees, assign, direct, and evaluate their work, and oversee the development and maintenance of staff competence.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
  • 10+ years in design engineering, new product introduction (NPI), and engineering management.
  • Experience in engines, emissions technologies, powertrain, or related technologies preferably as applied to diesel.
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time.
