About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Software Development Team Lead to join our dynamic Technology - Development team. This diverse team of tech-savvy builders and problem solvers embraces digital transformation and the possibilities technology brings to the future of our industry.

As a key member of our team, you will partner with the Product Manager to define the roadmap and sprint plans, balancing new features, retiring technical debt, and laying the foundation for future growth. You will connect with various stakeholders to understand their needs and how technology can make an impact.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with the Product Manager to define the product roadmap and sprint plans, ensuring a balance between new features, technical debt reduction, and future-proofing the platform.
  • Engage with stakeholders across the organization to gather requirements and understand their needs, translating them into actionable technical solutions.
  • Work in tandem with the Architecture team and senior developers to analyze legacy systems and re-engineer them using modern technologies such as micro-front ends and domain services.
  • Design and implement new features, continuously improving existing functionalities and driving efficiency within the development process.
  • Lead a team of 5-8 Developers, conducting daily stand-ups, performance reviews, and providing timely and constructive feedback to foster growth and development.
  • Mentor and guide your team members, empowering them to take on new challenges and expand their skillsets.
  • Ensure the technical delivery of the team's projects, maintaining clear visibility into progress and deliverables.

Skills and Experience

  • Minimum four (4) years of experience in a leadership role within software development.
  • Seven (7) or more years of experience developing applications using .NET solutions, including TypeScript, C#, .NET, REST Services, and Azure.
  • Proven experience with Angular or similar front-end frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of Agile development methodologies and Scrum practices.
  • Experience working with Cosmos, Azure SQL, and on-premise SQL Server databases.
  • Familiarity with WinForms is considered an asset.
