The Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Installation Specialist to join our team at Wajax. As an Installation Specialist, you will be responsible for the assembly and installation of new or rebuilt crane and utility equipment.

The Role

  • Assemble and install crane and utility equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Oversee and work closely with other installers in a mentorship capacity.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Install electrical components, wiring, and electrical power boards.
  • Test and troubleshoot hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and other equipment.
  • Perform minor electrical, minor welding, and fabrication tasks.
  • Prepare units for pre-delivery inspections.
  • Participate in all required Health & Safety Training.
  • Comply with the Health & Safety program and practices.

The Candidate

We are looking for a candidate with a High School Diploma and a Crane Utility Fleet License. Previous experience in a similar role is an asset.

Work Experience:

  • 1-2 years of experience (D)
  • 2-3 years of experience (C)
  • 4-5 years of experience (B)
  • 5-7 years of experience (A)

Knowledge:

  • Working knowledge of hydraulics
  • Specialized knowledge of electrical systems
  • Experience with welding and fabrication
