Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Cashier to join our Front End team at Thrifty Foods. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, processing transactions accurately and efficiently, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card payments, and other forms of payment.
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, adhering to company standards and procedures.
- Participate in the training of junior staff, sharing knowledge and expertise to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.
- Support additional departments and functions as required, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances.
Requirements
- Basic level of numeracy skills, with the ability to accurately handle cash and process transactions.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
