Your Role
As a Senior Project Manager within our Geotechnical Division, you will be instrumental in overseeing significant geotechnical initiatives. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing extensive geotechnical assessments.
- Identifying and mitigating project risks.
- Handling complex technical challenges.
- Setting relevant standards and protocols.
- Advising on innovative methods and tools.
- Contributing to staff training and professional growth.
- Assisting in the preparation of service proposals.
- Documenting findings and drafting reports.
- Ensuring effective administrative and financial oversight of projects while maintaining client relationships.
- Advancing the geotechnical discipline within Stantec in Quebec.
Qualifications
Essential Background
- Bachelor's degree in civil or geological engineering.
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, particularly in infrastructure projects.
- Membership in the Quebec Order of Engineers (OIQ).
- Strong communication and project management capabilities.
- Proficiency in French for technical documentation, with English skills for collaboration.
Preferred Attributes
- Master's degree in civil or geological engineering.
- Experience within the mining sector.
- Published technical works.
