- 3-5 years of relevant experience in a similar role within the automotive, construction, or heavy equipment sectors.
- 5-10 years in a leadership role emphasizing sales and operations.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proven team management and leadership experience within a Tier 1 Construction Equipment Brand is advantageous.
- Highly safety-oriented.
- Demonstrated leadership, coaching, mentoring, and employee development capabilities.
- Strategic thinker with excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to continuous improvement and strong business acumen to oversee financial operations.
- Customer-focused with exceptional interpersonal skills and relationship-building abilities.
- Superior planning and organizational skills with the capacity to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- A valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Strong understanding of sales-driven departments.
- Solid knowledge of heavy equipment or related industries with a proven track record.
- A post-secondary degree or diploma in Commerce, Business Management, or a related field.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
- Experience managing parts and service departments, emphasizing Product Support.
- Experience in managing a rental department is a plus.
- Familiarity with the local market is beneficial.
- Work primarily occurs at the branch location, including the parts department, rental department, shop, and yard.
- Regular meetings with customers at their business locations, including job sites.
- Occasional lifting of moderately heavy objects (up to 25 pounds) may be required.
- Personal protective equipment must be worn as provided by the company, with strict adherence to PPE requirements.
