About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vendor Risk Analyst to join our team at CT Bank. As a Vendor Risk Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting our Third Party Risk Management Program.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Manager, ERM in managing CTB's third party risk management framework and day-to-day third party processes and activities.
  • Manage and maintain the Bank's third-party software application (ProcessUnity) to ensure the effectiveness of third-party processes.
  • Conduct monitoring and second-line oversight of third-party related activities to ensure compliance with the Bank's Third-Party Risk Management Framework and policy.
  • Lead weekly third-party related meetings with internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to schedule third-party assessments.
  • Provide guidance, support, and subject matter expertise on the Bank's third-party related policies, processes, and software application.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of the ProcessUnity platform and functionality.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices relating to third-party risk management to ensure compliance and drive continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to maintain and enhance the third-party risk management framework and application.
  • Conduct training and awareness sessions for internal stakeholders on third-party risk management policies, procedures, and application use.
  • Be a subject matter expert on the Bank's Third-Party Risk Management Framework and supporting policies, processes, and application.
  • Review and monitor activities and reporting within the third-party software and follow up with internal stakeholders as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a business-related discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience as a risk analyst or an equivalent business-related role, specifically focusing on third-party risk management in the banking or financial services industry.
  • Strong knowledge of banking regulations and industry best practices related to third-party risk management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are required.
  • Solid proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of products, especially Excel and Word.
  • Experience with third-party risk management software is an asset.
  • Enthusiastic learner with well-developed organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks with competing priorities.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team of risk professionals.
