We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Client Services Assistant to join our team at Howe Hall - Parkland Saint John. As a valued member of our community, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and mobilizing, in a safe and respectful manner.
- Provide social, spiritual, and intellectual activities for residents, promoting their physical and emotional well-being.
- Clean resident rooms, servers, and household common areas, maintaining a clean and comfortable environment.
- Administer resident medications as assigned, following all medication management policies and guidelines.
- Communicate and report relevant information regarding resident care or safety to the Supervisor.
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate individual who shares our commitment to providing exceptional care and support to our residents. To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A valid Personal Support Worker diploma, certificate, or equivalent.
- Ability to work a minimum of 6 shifts per quarter and a schedule of flexible hours and shifts inclusive of days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- A valid CPR & First Aid Certification.
- Ability to provide a clear criminal record with vulnerable sector screening upon hire.
- Advanced proficiency in the English language is required, proficiency in French considered an asset.
