About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at 1075762 B.C. LTD. as a key member of our retail operations team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assign Sales Tasks: Assign sales workers to duties and ensure that sales floor operations are running smoothly.
  • Merchandise Management: Authorize the return of merchandise and maintain accurate inventory levels.
  • Sales and Customer Service: Sell merchandise to customers and resolve any issues that may arise, including customer complaints and supply shortages.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of sales floor workers and provide guidance and support as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail environment.
  • Work Environment: Non-smoking work environment.
  • Work Setting: Retail service establishment.
  • Transportation: Own transportation required.
  • Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, excellent oral communication, organized, reliability, team player, dependability, and initiative.
